IT KEEPS GOING AND GOING...

I am still working on using up that same sheet of paper. I have made five cards now, 2 regular size and 3 oversized. I am down to scraps of the patterned paper but I think I can squeeze one more card out of the leftovers. Stay tuned... Oh! All of my creations can be found in my gallery (with a list of supplies used) on Split Coast Stampers.

MOTHER'S DAY CARD

This is the Mother's Day card that I mentioned in the blog below. Check out all the cards I created with this paper in my gallery at Split Coast Stampers (see the link to the left).

PATTERNED PAPER INSPIRATION

I spent a few hours last night creating some cards just for the fun of it. I searched through my abundance of patterned paper which I have collected over the years, and found this. I thought I could use it for a Mother's Day card (which I did) and then continued on, figuring I would make cards until I used up the piece of paper. So far I have completed this one and two 6x6 cards and I still have some of the paper remaining so I plan to do a little more creating with it.
This card was actually very simple to make. There isn't any stamping. Just cutting and adhering the paper and ribbon. Probably the most difficult part of the whole card was making the brads using the Build a Brad Kit from SU! (and that wasn't very difficult at all).

March Stamp Club Samples

These are two of the six cards that we made at the March meeting of Stamp Club. All of the cards as well as the supplies and techniques used to make them can be found in my gallery at Split Coast Stampers (see link to the left). For all of the cards, I used the same two stamp sets: Tart and Tangy (from the 2008 Occasional Mini Catalog) and Warmest Regards. I also stayed with the same color scheme using Real Red, Old Olive, Bashful Blue and Pumpkin Pie.
